Most testing requires in-person appointments. Some components may be conducted virtually when clinically appropriate.

Fees reflect self-pay rates and may vary based on clinical complexity and testing needs. If insurance is used, reimbursement is determined by your individual plan and may offset a portion of the cost. Click here for a full list of fees for neuropsychological testing and other mental health care.

Ask our team whether your insurance can be used for the psychological and neuropsychological evaluation you need.

How testing is conducted

Some tests require clients to be present in-person to be assessed and actively guided by a trained test administrator, while others can be completed securely through HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms, with guidance from our clinicians as needed. Depending on the objective of the testing and the selection of the testing materials for the final report, our trained clinicians will create a plan and advise on these options:

  • In-person testing: You will be scheduled for specific appointment times and may be required to bring photo identification.
  • Telehealth testing: You must have access to a quiet, private space and a reliable internet connection. Instructions for completing remote assessments will be provided.

Confidentiality and privacy

All information obtained during testing is confidential and protected under federal and New Jersey state laws.

Exceptions to confidentiality include:

  • Risk of harm to self or others
  • Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, dependent adult, or elder
  • Court orders or other legal requirements

A signed Release of Information (ROI) is required to share results with third parties (e.g., schools, attorneys, physicians, insurers).
