Elizabeth Connolly, LMSW
Liz Connolly, LMSW earned her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University School of Social Work. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as a Minor in European History from Syracuse University.
Elizabeth’s warm and supportive style creates the needed stable platform to help her clients reach their fullest potentials, to seek out and enrich their lives with opportunities for professional and interpersonal growth. Through a relationship built on trust and mutual respect, Elizabeth encourages her clients to engage in honest introspection and reflection, and guides them to courageously explore their strengths and vulnerabilities, and to engage with the world with realistic hope and optimism.
In her work with individuals from different backgrounds, she readily applies a range of different techniques and modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Theory.
