Sara Aharon, LMSW, LSW

Sara Aharon is dual licensed in New York and New Jersey, and trained at Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. Sara believes that coming to therapy is the brave first step of asking for help and gaining meaningful insights. Her therapeutic approach combines techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Strengths Perspective, Systems Theory, and Insight-Oriented Therapy, to help people empower themselves moving forward. She comes to the therapeutic space from a background in coaching for adults, both men and women, specializing in life transitions, stress management, ‘impostor syndrome,’ anxiety management, and trauma. She is trained in CBT, DBT, and trauma treatment, and approaches therapy from an attachment-based and strengths-based lens.
